Hawzah News Agency- Parachinar region, located in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan, remains in a tense situation, despite the local government's efforts to address the issues behind the recent attacks on people in vehicles and a ceasefire agreement between the conflicting tribes in the Kurram region; terrorist activities have intensified.
According to various sources, mobile phones and internet services have been snapped in Parachinar and its surrounding areas and educational institutions have also been closed.
Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said in a high-level meeting on security issues that the situation in Parachinar was heartbreaking and described it as an ominous conspiracy.
It is worth noting that senior Pakistani officials and leaders of political and religious parties have strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack. In this criminal act, several vehicles were targeted, killing at least 55 people.
